Tradeweb is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to help meet the needs of our growing global business. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within an experienced Risk Management team to establish new counterparty credit relationships, setting and monitoring risk ratings and limits, preparing periodic portfolio reviews for risk committees, and establishment of counterparty Credit Risk management best practice models, tools, and processes. This is a hybrid position (2-3 days per week in office), based out of our NYC office.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform credit analysis and assess the creditworthiness of financial institutions including broker/dealers, banks, investment managers, proprietary trading firms, and hedge funds
- Monitor and respond to credit exceptions including intra-day limit encroachment and breach as well as overage approval process
- Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of external and internal credit ratings
- Evaluate current and potential future exposure for counterparties
- Work as part of a team to drive the development/maintenance of appropriate standards and technology tools for credit and risk monitoring
- Participate in developing enhanced procedures, analytics, and tools used to analyze counterparty Credit Risk
- Liaise with various groups within the firm for the quick resolution of client or credit exposure related issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant counterparty Credit Risk experience with a focus on financial institutions; experience in counterparty stress testing preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree completed or relative work experience required
- Excellent financial statement analysis skills
- Strong understanding in financial fixed income products and main counterparty risk metrics.
- Strong knowledge of risk regulatory requirements.

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $80,000 to $125,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
