Job Description:

UPS is seeking a dynamic End User Development supervisor to guide a team of skilled developers and work with End Users to design, test and set realistic targets for existing and new applications for internal use in Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Health Care Operations and groups within the Industrial Engineering (IE) function. The supervisor gathers and documents business requirements, helps with the development of web/database applications and provides support. He / She supports analysis and development, operations productivity improvement, and operational planning activities for the IE Supervisors.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Discusses with Engineers and Operational Stakeholders on requirements and progress.

  • Manages team of external developers.

  • Develops and maintains software, databases, dashboards, reports and spreadsheet tools to assist Operations and IE with productivity improvement, forecasting and work measurement development

  • Creates and maintains documents/how to guides related to the applications and reports

  • Responds to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from the IE management team to support operational analysis

  • Works with management teams to implement the roll out of applications and reports

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with limited supervision

  • Ability to set and meet aggressive goals

  • Experience with Team Management

  • Experience with C# / .NET

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

  • Experience with Angular 11 - Preferred

  • Experience with Agile development methodology

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps

  • Experience with Azure

  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Computer Science or related field - Preferred
