We are seeking a team member for the position of VP Account Management. Reporting to the Co-CEO
Summary:
Our VP of Account Management will be responsible for overseeing our client services team and drive client satisfaction and revenue growth across our portfolio of clients. They will work closely to understand each client’s business goals and how our solutions can best be implemented to achieve such results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand business with existing clients and drive new business opportunities.
- Lead and mentor our Account Management team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve clients’ KPIs. Inspire team members to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to address client challenges and achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the development of client proposals, presentations, and contracts, ensuring alignment with client expectations and agency capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, insights, operations and creative to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns and projects. Lead cross-departmental collaboration to drive innovation and thought leadership.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in paid media: This is essential to ensure that campaigns are as effective as possible.
- Build relationships with media partners: This is important to secure favorable rates and placements for campaigns.
- Contribute to the agency's thought leadership initiatives by creating high-quality content such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars. They should share their expertise and insights on relevant topics to position the agency as a leader in the industry.
Here are some of the skills and qualifications we are looking for in a VP Account Management position:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in digital marketing and client service.
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing & media, agency experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills andstrategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effective communicator who can convey a vision, expectations and feedback clearly and effectively. Active listener for team members, clients and stakeholders of the agency.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience managing account budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets. Ability to analyze financial performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to achieve financial goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to navigate uncertainty, embrace change and pivot strategies as needed.
- Experience with a variety of paid advertising platforms, such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
- Expert knowledge of paid media principles and best practices.
