Volunteer Coordinator - Covering Rochester, Mankato And La Crosse

Job Description:
Moments Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator to work in the field in the covering Rochester, Mankato and La Crosse
Expectations:
• Responsible to make introductions of volunteers to patients
• Speaking engagements (1 per week)
• 35-40 touch points in the community per week
o Churches/Synagogues/Temples
o Senior Centers
o Rotary Clubs
o Civic Groups
o Groups such as Elks Club
o Colleges/Universities/Tech schools
o VFWs/American Legions
o Assisted and Independent Living facilities
o Other community organizations
• Post flyers
• Attend job fairs
• Holding volunteer requirement events
• Passing out recruitment materials
• Must be available for evening and weekend activities (as required)
• Expectation to be out in the community and not in office
Quota:
• 20 volunteer applications completed for assigned territory per month
• At least 10% of applications must convert into an active volunteer.
