Voice & Data Technician Prevailing Wage

Summary: We are looking for technicians with any low voltage experience in Voice & Data, structured cabling.

• 8+ years of experience working in a commercial environments.
• IDF & MDF expertise
• Experience pulling and terminating Cat 5/5e, Cat 6/6e, Fiber Optic or Coax cable.
• Ability to install support structures (ladder racks, j-hooks, etc.)
• Skills for terminating and dressing distribution frames (patch panels, 66 and/or 110 blocks, etc.)
• Experience using digital multi-meters, toning and/or testing cable a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot any issues with the network a big plus

REQUIREMENTS:

• Own your own basic hand tools.
• Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

NICE TO HAVES:

• Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed items is BIG plus.
• Experience installing and terminating Fiber Optic cable.
• Experience overseeing and/or leading crews.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $70.00 per hour
