YOUR ROLE AS A VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES DIRECTOR

In this pivotal position, you are the architect of policies and procedures that elevate our services. With your keen eye for audits, both internal and external, you ensure our standards remain top-notch. You expertly manage external audits, including SourceAmerica and NYSID, all the while providing invaluable recommendations for process refinement. Overseeing disability documentation, program targets, and fiscal responsibilities is within your purview, and you're the primary liaison to our funding partners, securing the success of our programs.

But that's not all. You ensure compliance with program contracts and spearhead expansion efforts. Monthly and quarterly reports carry your imprint as you oversee data submission. You're also instrumental in recruitment activities to fulfill program obligations and keep us running at full capacity. Your commitment to staff development and maintaining professional standards shines through your supervision and training initiatives, ultimately allowing us to deliver exceptional Vocational Rehabilitation Services.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• An MA/MS in Vocational Rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Vocational Rehabilitation, including 5+ years in a management role

Or

• An equivalent combination of related education and experience

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working with individuals facing developmental disabilities and employment barriers
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification
