This role has been designated as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description
As a Design Verification Engineer at HPE, you will have the opportunity to be part of a world class team, designing High Performance Computing networking ASICs. In this role you will be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon Design Verification, including Design Verification methodology, test-plan development, test bench development, coverage closure, and sign off reviews.
How You'll Make Your Mark:

  • Follow and improve the teams Design Verification methodology.
  • Write bus functional models that drive and monitor stimulus.
  • Plan and implement block level scoreboards and checkers to verify functional behavior.
  • Write and assess functional coverage.
  • Triage regression failures and identify logic bugs, while driving bug closure.
  • Provide technical expertise and oversees project teams of VLSI engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of Design Verification.
  • Collaborate and communicate with management and internal partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
  • Represent the team for all phases of larger and more complex VLSI development projects.
  • Participate as a member of project team of other VLSI engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for VLSI prototypes and products.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

About You:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in VLSI design, verification, or implementation
  • Strong knowledge of System Verilog
  • Strong knowledge of OVM or UVM methodologies.
  • Ability to be self-directed in a distributed team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong experience in designing VLSI components, integrated circuitry, architectures and algorithms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
