Are you looking for a challenging commercial role that allows you to influence a broad range of global leaders and helping to shape regional marketing solutions?  If so, this Marketing Directorrole could be an exciting opportunity to consider.

As the Marketing Director, you will lead efforts to support the launch of medicines, including the development of national and International & region-specific launch plans, and the assessment and development of tools/solutions for providers and patients in key markets.

Please note that this role is based out of ViiV Healthcare's US Headquarters in Durham, NC & is eligible for a relocation package (within the US).

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…

• Define customer insights, journeys, and segmentation; product positioning; creative strategy, integrated, cross channel promotional mix.
• Cultivate relationships with field force and external customers, develop deep market insights, and customize commercial strategies across various customer segments.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace.
• Develop KPIs and reporting with a focus on impact and performance, sharing results with leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to seamlessly align marketing strategies with overarching business goals and objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements while maintaining marketing effectiveness.
• Provide leadership to team members to build skills and fosters a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
• Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets
• Foster an environment of innovation, inclusion, challenge, trust, and development.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Bachelor’s Degree & 8 plus years commercial experience including marketing OR sales
• Commercial operational experience in pharmaceutical industry at a Local Operating Country (LOC) and regional level
• Experience with commercial aspects of the drug development process through to launch
• Experience managing direct reports
• Experience with utilizing insights from key customers – patients, payers, providers – to drive key marketing decisions and forecasts

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Post Graduate Degree
• Experience leveraging organizational channels and influencing skills to facilitate successful project
• Experience in strategy development and execution
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills, balanced with strong operational experience
• Demonstrates an understanding of US Pharmaceutical channel, pricing, and market access strategies
