This role is in office Monday to Thursday.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Production Manager to join Blue Owl's Corporate Marketing team, driving the full lifecycle of video content for the firm, including strategy and planning, publishing, distribution, analytics, measurement and technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our in-house studio, overseeing Video Production from concept to
completion, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality video content. This role involves hands-on video shooting and editing for straightforward productions, as well as coordinating with freelance crew members for more complex projects.

Responsibilities
• Studio Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our in-house video studio. Maintain equipment and manage studio schedules.
• Production Oversight: Lead and manage all aspects of Video Production, including preproduction planning, overseeing video shoots, and post-production.
• Video Strategy: Generate new ideas in partnership with the wider Marketing team on content creation, formats, and video execution with an eye to reaching target audiences and driving commercial outcomes.
• Hands-On Video Creation: Directly engage in filming, recording, and editing video content for a range of straightforward production needs.
• Freelance Crew Coordination: Build and maintain a network of freelance Video Production professionals. Engage and manage these resources as needed for larger or specialized projects.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts and storyboards. Ensure that video content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Quality Control: Ensure all video content meets high standards of quality and is delivered on time and within budget.
• Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, keeping them on track and communicating progress with stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest Video Production technology and trends. Provide recommendations for studio equipment upgrades as needed.
• Budget Management: Manage budgets for video projects, including equipment purchases and freelance crew expenses.
What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in film, media production, or a related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate Video Production
• Strong skills in videography, lighting, sound recording, and video editing.
• Proficient in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Sound editorial judgement, ideally with experience markets and finance
• Experience managing freelance crews and coordinating multiple projects.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
• Experience with brand marketing teams and an understanding of messaging, campaign development, paid/owned distribution, and marketing analytics
• Experience optimizing content for social distribution: LinkedIn, X
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $110,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
