Position Title: Video Production Manager
Department: Marketing and Communications
Reports to: Creative Director
Location: Hybrid in NYC due to studio location
Schedule: M-F, 9AM-5PM EST
Salary Range: $76K - $87K*
*New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.

Position Overview:
The Video Production Manager assumes a pivotal role in overseeing the Video Production team and creating visually stunning videos. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the incumbent collaborates closely with the creative team to deliver top-tier video content that aligns with the organization's mission and values. The successful candidate will leverage empathetic and tactful storytelling skills to cultivate a safe and positive environment, fostering a conducive space for individuals to share their stories.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Report to and work with the Creative Director on day-to-day operations of the visual production department
  • Act as in-house videographer and photographer for weekly shoots
  • Manage internal stakeholder relations for ongoing video projects highlighting Vibrant’s success stories
  • Manage and oversee video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video projects
  • Deliver high-quality video products on time and within budget
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs and requests from internal and external clients
  • Supervise additional staff during Video Production
  • Ensure all video projects are on schedule
  • Identify best practices for Video Production and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of Video Production equipment

Decision Making

  • Overseeing video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
  • Multi-factor decision- making requiring research and analysis, subject to supervisory guidance.
Scope of Responsibility/Accountability:
  • Reporting to and working with the Creative Director on day-to-day operations of the visual production department
  • Acting as an in-house videographer and photographer for weekly shoots
  • Delivering high-quality video products on time and within budget
  • Ensuring all video projects are on schedule
Managing/Directing Work:
  • Managing and overseeing video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video projects
  • Supervising additional staff during Video Production
  • Identifying best practices for Video Production and evolving daily operations as necessary
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Video Production environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Expert in shooting and editing videos and photography.
  • Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro X
