The Opportunity:
Are you ready for a Chief Technology Officer role at a dynamic, fun, and growing company with a national security focus? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Technology & Solutions - Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology department. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Security technologies and will be responsible for managing our engineering and product teams, and customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the technology teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage and oversee the engineering and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions.
- Lead the development and implementation of the company's technology strategy and roadmap.
- Drive innovation and stay abreast of technological advancements to keep the company at the forefront of its industry.
- Collaborate with other departments to align technology solutions with business goals.
- Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their technology needs are met and exceeded.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams in the design, development, and deployment of technical projects.
- Implement and oversee CI/CD processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Promote and maintain Agile and Scrum practices within the teams to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Collaborate with other departments to align engineering objectives with overall business goals.
- Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and budgeting for the engineering department.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in solving complex engineering problems.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technology leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Clearance: TOP SECRET Clearance preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise in IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering and product teams.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Proven expertise in Agile and Scrum practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
