GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for the high-level and strategic planning of the Sales Department. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and driving revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

● Develop and execute the overall Sales strategy in alignment with Company goals

● Provide visionary leadership to the Sales team, fostering a high-performance environment

● Serve as a positive and proactive leader, embodying the values, work ethic, and enthusiasm expected from all Sales employees

● Encourage a healthy Sales culture of motivation, integrity, and professional development

● Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment

● Drive revenue growth through effective Sales strategies and management

● Works closely with Senior Leadership to ensure departmental initiatives align with the Company’s long-term vision

● Confer with Operations Leadership to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business

● Assist in formulating Affiliate Network and Partnerships

● Convene with Head of Training to identify ongoing training needs in an effort to improve performance

● Set and achieve ambitious Sales targets and department KPIs

● Oversee and develop all levels of Sales Management

● Collaborate with the marketing department to establish and evaluate lead sources, in addition to identifying new opportunities

● Develops, updates, enhances and maintains department standards, policies and procedure

● Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions

● Use market insights to inform strategic decisions and product development

● Implement and optimize Sales processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness

● Utilize the CRM and internal reporting systems to track and analyze Sales performance

● Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a unified and customer-centric approach

● Collaborate with Human Resources Department and Talent Acquisition to help build a sales culture that is aligned with company values

● Follow all policies and procedures for the department and company

● Establish schedules for Direct Reports

● Daily monitoring of attendance and punctuality of the department, which includes reporting excessive absenteeism and tardiness to the Human Resources Department.
 

● Daily monitoring of Overtime hours for the department, which includes establishing limitations on Overtime hours, and addressing unapproved Overtime hours as they occur.

● Daily monitoring of time records for the department, to ensure missing punches and time cards errors are resolved.

● Daily monitoring of meal break compliance to ensure that hourly members of the department are taking meal breaks in compliance with Company policy (i.e., Meal breaks must be a minimum of 30 minutes in length, and taken by the 5th hour of work).

● Management of Paid Time Off (PTO) for members of the department, which includes approving/denying requests for PTO and communicating Unpaid Time Off to the Human Resources Department.

● Monitoring of performance for all members of the department, which includes conducting progressive disciplinary action when appropriate, establishing performance improvement plans, documenting conversations regarding performance matters, and conducting 90-day and annual performance evaluations per Company policy.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, skills, abilities and experience normally required for competent performance)

Knowledge and Experience

● Minimum of 10 years’ experience in debt settlement or similar fields

● Proven track record of success in a senior Sales leadership role, ideally as a Director or VP of Sales

● Strong understanding of the debt settlement industry and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth

● Excellent leadership and team management skills

● Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Skills and Abilities

● Electronic phone system & CRM Experience

● Computer literacy

● Typing 45 plus words per minute

● Highly motivated

● Knowledgeable of MS Office: word, excel, outlook

● Problem Solving Skills

● Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance

● Must work well in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, and good at dealing with constant change

● Knowledgeable of MS Office: word, excel, outlook

Pay Range - $175k-$200k (w/ bonus = $350-$400k)
Location - Local only
