ABOUT THE ROLE
Power Factors is seeking an experienced Vice-President of Sales, Americas to partner with the Chief Sales Officer to grow the Americas business in both the Enterprise and Mid-Market segments. You will lead efforts to hire experienced sales executives with success in SaaS models, introduce rigor around prospecting and discovery, value selling, executive engagement, pipeline management and forecasting. You will partner with Marketing to create awareness in the market and execute demand generation campaigns. You will also partner with Customer Success to ensure our customers are realizing value from our platform.
This role reports to the Chief Sales Officer and will be remotely based in the USA.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provides leadership to develop a world-class sales culture, while fostering an environment of mutual respect, accountability, professional development, high-performance, operational excellence, and ethical behavior aligned with company values. Actively participate in the sales cycle with your team(s) for key strategic enterprise and mid-market accounts, and act as a trusted advisor to the company's highest priority accounts.
  • Responsible for development and execution of regional go-to-market strategies designed to achieve specific sales objectives and accelerate revenue growth; confident in making adjustments adjusting strategies and models based on data, in-depth knowledge of prospects, customers, and sales & buying patterns.
  • Drive activities and behaviors through establishing and governing the regional sales organization's use of CRM system. This includes establishing guiding sales organizational principles for managing performance, establishing, and prioritizing critical performance measures; and ensuring all key sales and sales associates are held accountable for assigned results.
  • Contribute as critical stakeholder in the definition and use of the technology systems & processes necessary to provide accurate and timely reporting of Sales metrics and to achieve repeatable success related to demand generation, pipeline management, contract administration, and sales workflows.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional internal teams, namely marketing, business development, product, and customer success, to refine and execute regional go-to-market strategies and address customer-specific needs and requirements.
  • Participate in and contribute to executive steering committees to support strategic decision-making about products, technology roadmap, business development and company core capabilities.
  • Develop and execute global account plans in collaboration with other regional sales teams to achieve the financial and strategic objectives of global accounts.
  • Accountable for the team and individual quotas as established by the executive team and as per the annual sales incentive plan to meet company financial performance objectives across multiple product lines and types of Sales opportunities.
  • Will execute the following types of Sales: direct sales, new logo acquisition, upsells, cross sells. renewals, and professional services,
  • Accountable for the regional sales organization budget. Proactively assesses existing sales organization support investments, including those in technology, training, and administrative support.

  • University Degree in Business Management, Engineering or in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of Sales experience in B2B SaaS sales environment, with specific experience and relationships in power, renewable energy, and/or utility segments
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing an enterprise sale team.
  • Inspiring sales leadership skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to meet customers as needed.
