Job Description
United Musculoskeletal Partners is seeking an VP, Revenue Cycle Management. This position will be responsible for assembling and leading a high-performing team, deploying a customer-centric approach to the Revenue Cycle components, and enabling United Musculoskeletal Partner to achieve its overall strategic and financial goals.
This position is responsible for day-to-day operations and the planning, development, and implementation of policies, objectives, and initiatives for multiple sites. This position reviews and implements systematic approaches to maximize revenue and cash flow, to ensure results are consistently delivered. This position is also responsible for providing leadership, management, and development of the operations team. The position is responsible through influence and direction to meet United Musculoskeletal Partners performance expectations. This position is required to communicate organizational values and positive leadership to all associates within the organization. The VP, Revenue Cycle Management will report to the Chief Revenue Officer. ·
Oversight of Operations, including but not limited to:
· Develop Key Performance Indicators
· Direct oversight to improve operational performance in both the individual site’s setting and the centralized environments.
· Provide overall direction for successful completion of projects.
· Responsible for management of Revenue Cycle On-Site Directors and direct authority of all leadership involved in Revenue Cycle operations. This includes but is not limited to:
· Performance evaluation Skill set enhancement Accountability to KPIs
· Develop/adhere to specific objectives and performance standards as defined by Corporate in each area of responsibility
· Coordinate with leadership on process initiatives such as AR aging, denial management and self-pay collections / patient experience improvement.
· Assist leadership in understanding back-office metrics, tools, and reports. Facilitate the monthly onsite meeting to review the MOR. Monitor AR aging and identify process issues/improvements in areas such as billing, collections, overall vendor performance, collection agency, and payment compliance
· Monitor bad debt and identify process issues/improvements in areas such as registration, upfront collections, Medicaid eligibility, HIM, and Case Management
· Participates, drives, organizes sales opportunities and deliverables surrounding Revenue Cycle.
· Monitor cash flow to ensure achievement of goals
· Provide weekly and monthly reports as requested
· Inform leadership of any significant issues in the Patient Access and Back Office areas (e.g., Pre-registration delays, pre-authorization backlogs, cash posting backlogs, cash delays etc.) and monitor progress to resolution
· Proactively plan for succession in key positions and lead the planning for coverage when vacancies occur (utilize float pools where applicable) to eliminate negative impact to facilities experiencing vacancies. Participate in candidate identification and consideration when filling open positions.
· Lead the process for onboarding new leadership at assigned locations
· Perform staff reviews and prepare performance documents for direct reports
· Participate in monthly conference calls; provide updates on a rotational basis and highlight key challenges and/or successes to share best practices across company.
· Attend calls to obtain latest information on corporate initiatives and provide appropriate updates.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· 7 to 10 years of Physician Revenue Cycle Leadership at AVP or above
· Multiple states, multiple locations Exhibits strong strategic, analytical, project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
