Purpose
The position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with strategic healthcare accounts, both prospects and customers. The accounts are typically mid to large healthcare entities. The ideal candidate has a proven track record for achieving revenue growth and sales quota targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through partnering with organizational cross functional teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Grow revenue with strategic, named accounts in the territory
- Achieve sales quota targets
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Identify, attend, and support annual conferences and events to establish relationships
- Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific inquiries
- Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
- Handle escalations between strategic accounts and the Key Accounts team
- Meet assigned strategic accounts and identify new platform feature opportunities
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust activities to reach desired results
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts
- Engage internal resources and 3rd parties to prepare and deliver sales presentations and design solutions to meet customer needs and close strategic account opportunities
- Remain abreast of current healthcare market trends and communicate relevant information internally and externally
- Obtain a depth of knowledge on all Centegix solutions and services
- Strong comprehension of Healthcare industry initiatives and the correlation with Centegix solutions and services
- Maintain a level of understanding of issues related to healthcare and specifically to hospitals and health systems
- Covering assigned territories and traveling 50% of the time
- Responsible for identifying and initiating one-on-one dialog with new potential referral sources and maintaining positive relationships with existing referral sources
- Network, build relationships, and educate referral partners within the healthcare system on all the benefits of Centegix products and services and how it saves lives
- Develop sales territory action plans and call strategies to maintain ongoing business with current accounts and apply working knowledge of clinical, consultative, and strategic selling skills to drive new market potential to grow the business within assigned territory
- Proven sales leader who is approachable, has strong emotional awareness and embraces change
- Minimum of 5 years SaaS sales experience in the Healthcare tech field strongly preferred and/or extensive SaaS and HaaS sales experience outside Healthcare tech field
- Experience in the Emergency Response System and Safety arena highly desired
- Solid sales experience and proven results in healthcare vertical or related industry
- Hands on experience with CRM software and account management systems
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and KPI’s
- Enterprise level software rep with an ability to address executive-level customer requests in a timely manner
- Strong needs analysis/questioning, pipeline building, analytical skills (understanding quota’s and what’s required to achieve), negotiating, presentation, closing skills
- Capacity to listen and identify needs of Healthcare institutions and then articulate the story of why our solutions meet those needs
- Passionate, energetic, trustworthy, reliable, motivated by money
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
- Ability to work with sales management to develop strategic sales plan for territory
- Must have key contacts they can leverage within the territory and industry
- Must be well connected and have established relationships in the following areas (Safety & Security, Top Level Hospital Administration, Chief of Staff)
