JOB TITLE: Vice Presidentof Fund Development and Stewardship
PROGRAM: Agency
STATUS: Full Time, (35 hours per week)
FLSA DESIGNATION: Exempt
REPORTS TO: President/CEO
DEGREE: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of Fund Development campaign and event experience, preferably with human service organization or institution of
higher education.
SALARY RANGE: $70,000-$78,000
WORK LOCATION: Hybrid work potential
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Primary responsibility for the strategic planning, creation, implementation and maintenance of a widespread donor engagement plan that fosters a pipeline of
consistent annual giving and future major gift support to Pinnacle Community Services and the Pinnacle CS Endowment. This role will work with the Development
Committee of the Board of Directors to focus on the implementation of a strategy to cultivate and retain annual donors; enhance unrestricted support; increase donor
participation rate, increase sponsorships and grow the PCS endowment; and ultimately renew and upgrade donors through an effective marketing, solicitation and
engagement strategy. Oversee the Marketing and Communications team of one staff and interns in support of gaining relationships, new participants and Fund Development
campaigns.

AGENCY EXPECTATIONS:
- Demonstrates and communicates knowledge of the program, mission, and services of Pinnacle Community Services.
- Complies with all policies and procedures of Pinnacle Community Services (including AFP Code of Ethics, Collective Bargaining Agreement, and Corporate Compliance Policies) and all governmental and legal requirements.
- Attends and participates in appropriate Agency staff trainings and meetings.
- Advocates for cultural diversity/sensitivity as appropriate.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop the overall strategic and organizational direction for the Fund Development, planned giving campaigns and fundraising and awareness events.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive fundraising plan to ensure funding for program operations for the short and long term.
- Engage donors through verbal and written communications, personal meetings, and recognition or steward events.
- Identify and cultivate relationships to secure corporate and foundation support
- Represent Pinnacle Community Services and its priorities as well as the Agency’s interests and mission, in internally and externally facing meetings and events.
- The possibility of flexible hours may include nights and weekends.
- Promote the Agency Endowment to potential donors and planned giving professionals.
- Provide support and supervision to the Marketing and Communication/Outreach Manager including;
- Support in the writing of or monitoring of grant applications and assignments
- Ensure and support in compliance with on-line grant management.
- Support the implementation of the Agency Communications Plan to promote our mission and provide consistent branding
- Support to develop and coordinate Agency communication through email, social media, website, press contacts, speaking engagements, and other platforms
- Ensure and monitor the development of Agency and program marketing materials
- Develop Agency Fundraising and Development Activities, including the MOVE for Mental Health, Golf Tournament, Domestic Violence Awareness Ribbon Walk, and oversee the creation of new Fund Development or awareness opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the activity, progress, and achievement of the campaigns, events, and appeals.
- Explore new strategies to maximize return on investment and inform annual budget process.
- Meet with and attain support from the Board of Directors’ Development, Communications and Marketing Committee quarterly, and includes them in developing Board fund raising and friend raising efforts through event sub committees.
- Work with key internal and cross-departmental partners to enhance engagement, solicitation, and Stewardship efforts.
- Reports directly to, and participates constructively in supervision with President/CEO.
- Performs other duties as requested by President/CEO.
