VP of Finance Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee creation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets, as well as forecasting future financial performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, prepare reports for senior management, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, manage cash flow effectively, and develop strategies to safeguard the company's financial health.
- Provide financial insights and guidance for strategic decision-making, such as investments, cost reduction initiatives, or expansion plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as executives and department heads, as well as external parties like investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Lead and mentor finance teams, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals while fostering a culture of excellence.
VP of Finance Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related area. Preference for candidates with an MBA or CPA.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and astute financial capabilities.
- Experience with professional accounting software.
- Substantial track record in leading financial roles specifically within the hotel sector.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication proficiencies.
- Demonstrated success in leading and nurturing teams to high performance.
