The Vice President of Finance is pivotal in overseeing the company's financial health and strategic financial planning. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record of driving financial excellence and supporting the organization's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and profitability.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support organizational decision-making. Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the executive team.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks while complying with relevant laws and regulations. Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets.
- Capital Management: Manage capital allocation, investment strategies, and capital raising efforts, including debt and equity financing when necessary.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Strategy: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships. Monitor and optimize working capital to support operational needs.
- Financial Systems and Technology: Evaluate and enhance financial systems and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Assess potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships, conducting financial due diligence and integration planning as needed.
- Food and Beverage experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role with at least ten years of progressive financial leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
