This is an excellent opportunity to be a leader in a stable company founded in 1976 in the multi-faceted property management industry. The VP we are looking for must have extensive knowledge and experience concerning all aspects of Commercial property management for office buildings, retail centers, mixed use, and industrial properties. They must be highly motivated and self-directed. This leader will be responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic vision for the commercial management and Facility Services departments, as well as creating Regional and District portfolio strategic plans and property level strategic plans. The VP will be responsible for creating and implementing plans for new business development to acquire new property management, facility management and leasing accounts. They will seek to develop and nurture healthy business relationships with clients. They must lead and manage the Commercial and Facility departments employees by coaching and mentoring, and by communicating and instilling the vision, mission, and values of the company. The VP will be responsible for developing, revising, and updating departments procedures, forms, manuals, and applicable policies.

• Proven negotiations skills
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and the Microsoft Office products. Must have the ability to become proficient at other company software systems
• Must practice an exceptionally high level of confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills

Experience Training and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, or other comparable degree required; or any combination of experience and formal education, i.e. accredited associations and/or university programs
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in property management or a related real estate field
• Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of Commercial leasing experience
• Kansas salesperson's license is required, and a Broker's license is preferred
• Certified Property Manager CPM® and/or Real Property Administrator RPA® designations are preferred
• Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance
