Job Description
The role will manage the end-to-end remediation and handle more complex requests for the investment teams. In addition, will assist and review the work of the middle office team function to ensure sound operational workflows, accurate processes and procedures, and the reporting of transactions for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Acts as subject matter expert and provides oversight within the team and is the key point of escalation for more complex issues and ad hoc deliverables. Leads resolution of escalated issues and complex inquiries from clients, custodians, and brokers to ensure a timely solution and response.
- Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations.
- Leads efforts to document and update policies and procedures on a regular basis to ensure they reflect regulatory changes & system enhancements.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across and leads efforts to help implement those improvements.
- Participates and in some cases leads special projects and coordination of team efforts such as data cleanup or testing initiatives.
- Provides training as appropriate for changes to business processes or to support new initiatives or products.
- Contributes to, supports, or leads special ad hoc & strategic projects as they arise within functional operations area.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a financial or asset management operations role and possess an understanding of trading securities.
Preferred:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and investment management software.
- Demonstrated project and budget management skills.
- Possess business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Base Pay Range: $144,900/yr. - $194,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
