VP - Capital Markets
RoundPoint Mortgage is seeking a Vice President, Capital Markets to lead it's Capital Markets function. This newly formed dynamic role will require strong leadership skills, complex problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of Capital Markets, and experience in Secondary Markets. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in Capital Markets with responsibly over the strategy, execution, and support for all aspects of capital structuring and planning.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage financial partner relationships, including identifying and documenting current and past financial interactions, developing and tracking financing initiatives, maximizing leverage from partners and safeguarding those relationships.

• Oversee the pricing, hedging and trading activities of the mortgage pipeline
• Research, identify and develop new partnering strategies to expand the scope and depth of financing relationships.
• Oversee competitive analysis and recommend pricing strategies
• Develop, with appropriate members of the Asset Management Team, financing strategies
• Source, structure, negotiate and close 3rd party financings as needed
• Monitor and report 3rd Party Debt levels, terms, covenants and any other salient data points and report to all constituents
• Strategize with asset management to mitigate any issues related to 3rd Party Debt

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, mathematics or related field
• 10+ years' experience in the mortgage markets and 7+ years' experience in Capital Markets
• Deep knowledge of Capital Markets and Secondary Marketing
• Strong analytical, math, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
