Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Duties: - Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Schedule appointments and maintain an organized appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a professional manner - Collect and update client information in our database accurately - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Process payments and handle financial transactions - Provide general information about veterinary services, procedures, and products - Assist with animal restraint when necessary Requirements: - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred - Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is highly desirable - Familiarity with animal husbandry, handling, and restraint techniques is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Proficient computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Compassionate nature towards animals and their owners Join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to animals.
