```Duties:```
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping and billing
- Provide information to clients regarding services, fees, and policies
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach towards animals and their owners
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of veterinary software systems
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology related to veterinary medicine
Skills:
- Aseptic technique: Knowledge of proper sterilization methods to maintain a clean and safe environment for animals.
- Animal care: Understanding of basic animal care needs, including feeding, grooming, and exercise.
- Animal restraint: Ability to safely handle and restrain animals during examinations or procedures.
- Pet grooming: Knowledge of basic grooming techniques for different types of animals.
- Veterinary critical care: Familiarity with emergency procedures and protocols for critical patients.
- Equine: Experience working with horses and knowledge of equine health care practices.
- Animal husbandry: Understanding of animal breeding, nutrition, and general health maintenance.
- Medical collection: Proficiency in collecting samples for laboratory testing or diagnostic procedures.
- Kennel: Experience in managing kennel operations, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animal behavior.
- Laboratory: Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment used in a veterinary setting.
