Country Club Veterinary Clinic is hiring for the position of Receptionist/Customer Service Representative
The perfect candidate would be a self starter, quick learner, "people person" that can keep a positive attitude under pressure.
The receptionist will handle phone calls and client-facing duties as well as general reception desk tasks. When our clients call or arrive at our clinic, we want them to hear a friendly un-rushed voice, and find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to communicate with technicians, clients and doctors.`
Applicants should have the ability to adapt quickly and work well individually without direction. You must have a neat, clean and professional appearance. We are seeking highly qualified, positive, motivated, compassionate and proactive individuals. Applicants should understand that this position is not a desk job and requires constant movement, proactive thinking, multitasking and thinking ahead.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones and greeting clients in person.
- Determining the clients needs quickly and efficiently
- Checking clients in and out using veterinary software Avimark
- Retaining records from other clinics via email
- Confirming/rescheduling appointments
- Accepting cash, credit and care credit payments
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Relaying messages in a timely manner
- Provide basic information to clients regarding services, pricing, and policies
- Understanding and using medical terminology, abbreviations, and pharmaceutical names
- Cleaning and other duties as assigned.`

Some weekend and holiday shifts are required to assist with the boarding animals.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
