Duties:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets
- Schedule appointments and answer phone calls
- Collect and update patient information in the system
- Assist with filing and organizing medical records
- Provide basic information to clients regarding services and procedures
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with handling animals as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with computer systems and software used in veterinary clinics
Note: While experience or knowledge in dog training or pet grooming is not required for this position, it can be considered a plus as it may enhance the candidate's ability to provide information to clients regarding these services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.83 - $21.47 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
