Veterinary Diagnostic Technician

• Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiography
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist with their care and handling
• Handle and process samples for laboratory analysis
• Ensure accuracy and quality control of diagnostic test results
• Maintain and update patient medical records
• Collaborate with veterinarians and other team members to interpret test results and develop treatment plans
• Provide guidance and education to clients regarding diagnostic procedures and test results
• Assist with other veterinary technician duties as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Veterinary Technician program
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, with a focus on diagnostics
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in diagnostic procedures and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
