Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our growing team in Brandon, FL. As a privately-owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, we offer advanced and specialized veterinary services to our clients and referring veterinarians. The Radiation Oncology Veterinary Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality cancer care to pets in. Responsibilities

Skilled veterinary nurse (at least 2 years of experience in the veterinary field) willing to be trained in operating radiation therapy and CT scanning equipment and administering radiation as prescribed by the Veterinary Radiation Oncologist.

Capable of working with Veterinary Oncologists and other medical personnel to determine treatment plans and provide quality care to patients. Ability to be trained and operate computer applications to maintain quality assurance as well as patients medical records.

Ability to be trained in helping family members navigate through complex therapies such as radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Educating clients about their patients treatment plans, assisting with symptom management, and acting as a patient advocate. Compassionate team player with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Placing intravenous catheters
• Collecting blood samples
• Running diagnostics
• Intubation, general anesthesia, and recovery
• Maintaining safety in the radiation department
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
