Job Description: We are currently seeking someone who loves Diagnosing. A skilled Automotive Technician who is passionate about diagnosing and solving vehicle issues. As a Diagnostic Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and repairing mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles within our fleet account. You will work alongside our experienced team to deliver high-quality service and maintain our reputation for excellence.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an auto technician, with knowledge of diagnostic and repair procedures, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle problems accurately.
- Inspect vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix problems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Keep up-to-date with automotive technology and industry developments.
- Ensure customer vehicles are safe and roadworthy before returning them to the customer.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an auto technician, with knowledge of vehicle diagnostic and repair procedures is a MUST.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
