Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of client information and pet medical history
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred but will train the right candidate
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care and aseptic technique is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling appointments and managing client information
