Job Description
```Duties``` - Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients - Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of blood vessels and related structures - Evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide recommendations for patient care - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper sterilization of equipment - Follow established protocols and guidelines for performing procedures - Provide patient education and support during the examination process
```Qualifications``` - Certification as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with vascular certification - Proficient in performing vascular ultrasound examinations, including knowledge of Doppler techniques - Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures - Ability to accurately measure vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate, during examinations - Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and their role in diagnosing vascular conditions - Strong understanding of medical terminology related to vascular anatomy and physiology - Skilled in conducting diagnostic evaluations to assess vascular health and identify abnormalities or diseases - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
