Job Summary:
The Valuation & Capital Market Analysis Intern is responsible for utilizing educational background, along with organizational and project management skills to successfully assist in servicing clients of the Valuation & Capital Market Analysis group. In this role, the Intern will work within a team environment to actively assist in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from experienced staff and management members. The Intern will be involved in all stages of client management including construction of valuation modeling, completion of industry and client research and analysis of financial statements.
Job Duties:
- Performs company, industry and economic research
- Assists with performing benchmark analyses and projects
- Analyzes financial statements
- Constructs valuation models
- Assists with assessing operational profitability and financial conditions
- Assists with developing and reviewing cash flow forecasts
- Navigates public company databases and filings
- Documents and ensures quality control of work product for assigned clients
- Assists with composing appropriate narrative reports to support valuation analyses
- Assists with developing exhibits and memos to illustrate complex issue
- Assists with project preparation and delivery
- Participates in external and internal client meetings
- Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Finance, required
Experience:
- Prior experience (internship or work study) in valuation, corporate finance or accounting environment highly beneficial, preferred
Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex issues
- Intermediate or higher spreadsheet understanding and computer adaptability
- Ability to analyze and organize high volumes of data
- Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $31.00/hr - $39.00/hr
Colorado Range: $22.00/hr - $30.00/hr
New York City/ Valhalla Range: $32.00/hr - $36.00/hr
Washington Range: $31.00/hr - $36.00/hr
