Description
Carelon's Product Platforms and Strategy team is looking to hire a Sr UX Designer. This high-performing individual contributor will be responsible for the navigation, organization and interaction design for leading-edge digital solutions and applications. Applies user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into best-in-class user experiences for our internal staff users such as nurses, physicians, call center intake, admin support, and our external users such as Providers, Health Plans clients, members. This position will work in a hybrid way from any US Elevance Health corporate location.
How you will make an impact:
Works with other designers, digital product managers and technology teams to create and implement best in class design solutions across our product lines.
Designs web and mobile layouts, designs conversions across devices, and supports supplementary design requirements, like photo editing and preparing comps for presentations.
Works with senior designers to produce style guidelines defining our products visual identity.
Creates the best design production based on project needs.
Mentors and provides guidance to junior designers.
Requires a BA/BS in a design discipline and minimum of 10 years experience, including minimum of 5 years working in a consumer facing design capacity; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Strong training and experience in User Experience, UX design, user research, product design, Voice of the Customer (VOC), Journey mapping
- Experience in integrating UX principles, design thinking mindset into an organization
- Experience with UX tools such as Axure, Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD and Optimal Workshop
- UX with healthcare products such as Benefits Management, UM, PA, Digital Front Doors/Provider Front Doors, mobile apps; With users such as providers, health plans, and members.
- Experience working in a highly-matrixed organization
