Job Description:
Our next SR UX Designer will be the person accountable for creating compelling UX designs; providing leadership on shaping the user experience, including wireframes, process flows, and solution interaction by becoming one with our customer’s needs; deeply understanding how they think, feel, and act to transform what they learn into an elegant user experience.
The right candidate for this role will need to build a comprehensive understanding of client needs and opportunities via structured research interaction with internal advocates, research participants, clients, and prospects. They will also need to create resources (wire frames, design artifacts, documentation) that empower software engineers to implement specific functionality consistently while increasing overall consistency and efficacy of existing user interface metaphors throughout the platform. The SR UX Designer will hold UX design review meetings for their work, constructively participate in the design review meetings of peers, and facilitate design reviews and knowledge transfer in such a way that participants recognize the value and commit to recurring engagements. They will contribute to the extension of resources (including design systems, documentation, and training material) that empower software engineers in the organization to contribute to advancement of our UX consistency by adopting and leveraging leading design patterns on their own.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
- Atlanta based, hybrid model (Tuesday & Wednesday in office)
- 3+ years of experience specifically involving design strategy and/or research, and utilizing the correct processes, tools, and methodologies for mapping product implementation to the needs and experiences of the user.
