OLIVER is seeking a UX Researcher with a focus on qualitative methodologies for technology products to join our new Studio. You will help drive transformation and innovation by contributing insights and research outcomes that translate directly into business and product impacts and help our client continue to be a leading, customer-centric technology company.
Your findings will contribute directly to improving the usability and overall user satisfaction of our client's products. You will collaborate with the larger UX Research team as well as our wider CMI organization to develop and execute the appropriate UX Research programs to reveal customer needs and expectations, from defining new experiences to delivering solutions that satisfy and delight customers.
What you will be doing:- Execute research activities (e.g., user interviews, journey mapping, concept testing, etc.) to uncover experience and product development insights from our client's retail locations
- End to end process from strategic planning and data collection
- Prep for workshops and deep dives, moderate sessions, and provide other research support as needed
- Synthesize findings to form insights and build compelling stories that drive impact
- Mine Syndicated and secondary research and data sources to add to our customer work
- Manage the participant experience to endure they are comfortable, maintain confidentiality, and handle notetaking and video responsibilities amongst the core team
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related work experience.
- Experience with user research methods (usability testing, user interviews, diary studies, etc.) Specifically, those used within the brick-and-mortar retail space.
- Experience defining and planning the approach and methodologies in context of project scope and timeline.
- Experience with secondary data, trends, and learnings.
- Experience moderating and planning user interviews, and usability studies in in-person and remote testing environments
- Understanding of how users interact with physical products is a must
- Experience demonstrating UX Research impact, including driving business and product decisions through UX Research.
- Bachelors or Masters in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Sociology, or a related field is a plus
- Have expertise on traditional research on top of UX/UI and digital
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $115,000.00to $125,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors
