The UX Designer is responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of our product suite and the user experience journey, encompassing both web portals and mobile applications. This role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated design team, contributing to research, and crafting designs in partnership with product and engineering teams. This role will address complex challenges and contribute to the creation of intuitive and engaging user experiences. The UX Designer will report to the Director of Digital Sales within the Marketing team.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in designing and refining features that engage and delights our users.
- Work in collaboration with product and marketing teams to grasp specific objectives and support design efforts to solve complex issues with innovative approaches.
- Learn and apply common visual and interaction design principles, crafting sketches, wireframes, flows, and design comps under guidance.
- Help produce clear materials that convey design intent to stakeholders, utilizing customer insights and market analysis.
- Support user advocacy, assist in developing user personas, mapping user journeys, and assessing the user experience.
- Assist in planning and executing user research, both qualitative and quantitative, to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Proactively seek and respond constructively to feedback on designs.
- Communicate design context, user goals, and objectives effectively to various audiences.
- Work alongside engineers and product managers to brainstorm solutions and ensure design feasibility.
- Embrace a value-driven approach, understanding the broader impact of design within the company.
- Keep informed about competitor products and trends in the industry.
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelors Degree with emphasis in UX/Design or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of UX experience, ideally within a product design team setting.
- Strong knowledge of human-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality UI design.
- Exposure to user research methods and a basic understanding of data analysis and insight synthesis.
- Effective communication skills with a knack for storytelling and visual presentation.
- Knowledge of responsive design and an interest in mobile-first strategies.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while learning and adapting

Salary Range$63500.00 To $95000.00 / yearBenefits & PerksThe compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
