RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Designer 3 in Redmond, WA.
Summary:
We are looking for a talented UX Designer to join our casual game studio. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and intuitive user experiences for our casual games. You will collaborate with the game development team, product managers, and stakeholders to understand player needs, design game mechanics, and create engaging user interfaces. You will use your creativity and design skills to develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that will help bring our games to life.
Responsibilities:
* UX Designer 3 will conduct user research to understand player needs and preferences
* Design and iterate on game mechanics, player flows, and user interfaces
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that communicate the user experience and functionality of our games
* Work closely with game developers to ensure the user experience is implemented to a high standard
* Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business goals and player feedback
* As a UX Designer 3, you will continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
* Help establish and maintain design standards for the studio
* Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging design patterns
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience, more towards 4-5 years preferred
* Figma - prototyping design background, 3-5 years of experience
* Adobe creative suite - artistic design background, 3-5 years of experience
* 3 years of experience with user research tools
* Experience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis is a plus
* Knowledge of game development and game design principles
* Strong portfolio showcasing UX design skills and problem-solving ability
* Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
