We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bakers Assistant/Dishwasher to join our team. As a Bakers Assistant/Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in some food preparation and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. ```Responsibilities```
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand
- Ensure that all dishes are properly cleaned, rinsed, and sanitized
- Sort and stack clean dishes for easy access by the kitchen staff
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as making our frosting, prepping ingredients for our cakes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire kitchen area
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste according to sanitation guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
Skills:
- Catering experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and kitchen equipment
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is desirable
