We are seeking a General Worker - Food Service-dishwasher to join our team. As a General Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our food service establishment. Your main duty will be to operate the dishwasher and ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a food service establishment or as a dishwasher is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the dishwasher and ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in appropriate storage areas.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or washing fruits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dishwashing station, kitchen, and storerooms.
- Dispose of waste and garbage in designated containers.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and hygiene practices.
- Must adhere to dress code and maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Ability to work in a team and follow directions.
