4-day work week! (4 x 10hr day) Every weekend is a 3-day weekend!
Position Summary: Perform hand and semi/automated assembly of parts and products. Visually monitor assembly for defective parts and improper assembly. Work toward identified production standards.
Essential Functions:
- Read assigned job paperwork and prints
- Perform all jobs per established policies and procedures. Jobs may include sub-assembly on crimper, riveter, or small press, final assembly, or final product packing.
- Ability to determine good parts/product from defective as instructed
- Ability to utilize scales to count parts per established procedures
- Ability to enter data into production system
- Ability to meet identified production standards
- Properly follow established scrap procedures
- Keep work area neat and orderly per 6s standards.
- Participate actively in department team and daily production meetings
- Always communicates respectfully
- Operates with a sense of teamwork and urgency
- Adheres to all safety requirements with respect to PPE and equipment requirements
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and managers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- GED equivalent
- Basic Reading and Math skills
- Must be able to pass a hiring drug screening testing.
