We are seeking exceptional candidate(s) for a full-time Utility/Sr. Utility Operator role in our cGMP facility.
Utility Operators are responsible for operating essential equipment to ensure seamless delivery of critical services such as Air, Steam, Water, Power, and other utilities vital to produce high-quality pharmaceuticals at JOINN Biologics. Responsibilities also include monitoring and maintaining the performance of all utility equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing support to various site functions as required.
Responsibilities:

• Provide technical subject matter expertise to our customers and support groups.
• Effectively communicate troubleshooting results
• Assure safe, timely and high-quality execution, with proper documentation, of all assigned utility activities.
• Interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, and various quality organizations as necessary to minimize Manufacturing impact and ensure equipment availability.
• Ensure that all systems including boilers, clean steam generators, water for injection stills, reverse osmosis units, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, wastewater flows, heat exchanges, pumps, valves, and VAV boxes and associated equipment function correctly.
• Document problems encountered and effectively communicate these through electronic work order systems (CMMS)
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspection on all utility systems and associated equipment.
• Operates systems in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with government regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct visual building rounds, inspections and equipment logs to ensure that building equipment and systems are functioning as designed and at 100% up-time.
• Provide general labor services throughout all areas maintained by the Utility Maintenance department including cleaning and organization of designated work areas.
• Successfully complete training and demonstrate an ability to perform equipment monitoring and operational checks on utility equipment.
• Complete site GMP requirements in relation to training and site practices.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Required/preferred Experience and Skills:

• High School/GED/trade school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years in an industrial maintenance or operation environment is required.
• Experience with boilers, air compressor systems, pumps, water purification systems such as reverse osmosis, vapor compression stills, clean steam generators, ancillary utility support systems and the automated controls that drive them is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of CMMS, BMS/BAS systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Physically able to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs. objects.
• Ability to work weekends and extended shifts as required.

Salary Description
$30 - $48 per hour
