This position is responsible for providing technical support on the implementation, optimization, commissioning and validation of utility equipment, systems, and mechanical / electrical infrastructure. Position activities include designating project resources, preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensure successful project completion. Ideal candidate will have technical expertise in addition to project management experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on engineering and design, front end planning and development, implementation, optimization, commissioning and validation of facility and utility equipment, systems, and mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
- Lead the technical execution of multiple capital projects
- Plan and develop utility / facility project scope, budget / cost, manufacturability and constructability, risks, schedule, and commissioning / validation considerations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee and develop the technical deliverables for a system design including flow diagrams, P&IDs, general arrangements, duct / piping routing and isometrics, equipment / piping / valve / instrument specifications and other documents in support of the project.
- Interface cross-functionally to establish and achieve energy management (ISO 50001) and sustainability associated targets for energy, water and carbon emissions.
- Interface frequently with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
- Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects or initiatives.
- Maintains compliance with company policies, training requirements, cGMPs and safety standards.
- Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-year degree Engineering
- 3+ years experience in FDA regulated facility with cGMP facility / utility design and construction
- Strong working knowledge of utility systems
- Strong communication skills and interacts well with groups within operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance.
