As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of seats and controls (steering wheel, pedals) - the very elements that connect drivers to the vehicle. Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay Range: $ 46-51/hr
What's the Job?
- Lead seat and control (steering wheel, pedals) development projects within the Cab Driving Team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure seamless design and execution.
- Utilize CATIA to conduct studies, develop designs, and manage releases.
- Leverage your expertise to proactively identify and mitigate technical challenges.
- Foster a knowledge-sharing environment within the team, promoting continuous learning and development.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience using CATIA for design and development.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
