We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indirect Tax Manager to oversee our U.S. property tax, business license, and sales and use tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities, ensure compliance with state and local tax laws and regulations, and improve overall tax efficiency.
Job Description:
Provide advice and guidance on tax implications related to property, including property tax, land tax, and other similar Indirect Taxes in relation to current and new property acquisitions.
Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders on tax-related matters concerning property, business licenses and sales and use tax.
Work closely with outside providers to manage property tax, business license and sales and use tax compliance to ensure accurate and timely filings and payments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Legal, and other business units, to ensure accurate and timely data gathering.
Conduct research on tax legislation, case law, and other guidance related to U.S. Indirect Taxes.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiencies.
In conjunction with other Tax Managers, participate in and manage U.S. Indirect Tax audits.
Provide training and guidance to finance and operational teams on U.S. Indirect Tax compliance and reporting requirements.
Undertake additional tax-related tasks as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in U.S. Indirect Tax, preferably in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to U.S. Indirect Taxes.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Alteryx a plus.
If contracted in the US:
The salary range for this position is 110,800 - 184,600 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
