```Overview```
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. You will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
```Responsibilities```
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the center's curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of each child
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents/guardians
```Qualifications```
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Experience working with children with special needs or autism is preferred
- Strong literacy education skills, including phonics instruction and reading comprehension strategies
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
