- Administer and manage various HR programs and initiatives, including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and facilitate the selection process.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR.
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and applicant tracking systems (e.g., iCIMS).
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and benefits administration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Project management skills are a plus.
