Infosys is seeking a Urban Deploy System Admin. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within Bethpage, NY or be willing to relocate to these locations. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 4+ years of experience in Configuring/maintaining/monitoring Urban Deploy, Java/J2EE Applications (Tomcat, JBOSS. etc.), Unix/Linux servers
Atleast 4+ years of experience in video domain with CPE /DOCSIS /STB devices experience4+Years of experience inin video domain with CPE /DOCSIS /STB devices experience
Experience in & knowledge of Wireline and Wireless plan, design, build processes
Ability to lead multiple project efforts at varying stages of completion and identify, track, and manage issues through to resolution.
Expertise in project planning, identifying dependencies, defining work breakdown structure and creating detailed project plan for each project track.
Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews program/project deliverables.
Able to articulate the status, issues, plan very clearly to leadership and present program level dashboard/presentations periodically
Hands on experience on agile project management tools like Jira , Agile Craft, LEANKIT etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
