The Unit Secretary is responsible for providing the department with the clerical support necessary to ensure a smoothly functioning unit. The Unit Secretary works in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, toward the end of providing quality patient care and enhanced communications.Experience:
- 1 year Clerical - Required
- Healthcare Setting - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training – John Muir Health – Required within 30 days of hire and every 12 months (or within 30 days of return from leave of absence)
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology through experience or completion of a course - Preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) - Preferred
Work Shift:
12.0 - 08:00 - 21:00 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
$27.59 - $35.35HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
