The Unit Coordinator at the Facility manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care.

Education: High School Degree or equivalent required.
Experience: One (1) year experience working in a Behavioral Health/medical office setting and previous clerical experience preferred.

Unit Coordinator/Receptionist - Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY
The Unit Coordinator at the Facility manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care.
Job Duties
- Management of patients with medical and behavioral issues as directed by the treatment team.
- Assists in maintain bed board.
- Management of legal paperwork including filing paperwork with the courts.
- Answering and directing unit phone calls.
- Assist patients in making phone calls during their approved call times.
- Filing documents and maintaining databases.
- Data entry
- Answers routine questions regarding departmental policies, operations, and procedures.
- Provides administrative support as requested.
- Assumes and/or performs additional duties as requested.
