WHAT THE JOB IS:
Job Title: Direct Care Counselor
Reports to: Staff Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine room searches and monitoring of clients.
- Must maintain cleanliness of the facility.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure that Treatment Center rules are followed.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by local, state and federal laws and guidelines.Must adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality laws and regulations.
- Must have RADT registration or SUD certifications.
- Maintain professional boundaries with residents and provide support and/or diversion consistent with interests and conditions of residents.
- Achieve high quality care of residents through cooperation, teamwork, and effective communication.
- Maintain awareness of resident whereabouts and safety at all times.
- Answer phones and route messages as directed, with prompt and efficient electronic communication.
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities, vehicles and offices.
- Provides an ongoing safe environment for staff and clients.
- Conduct daily property and house walkthroughs to ensure facilities are running efficiently, are presentable, and clean.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and clean up as needed.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with staff and clients.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
THE COMPENSATION:
- $ 19.00-25.00 an hour based on experience
- 8 hour Overnight, day, swing shifts
- full, Part Time , and Weekends
