What you do:

Allianz Life is investing in an agile and diverse talent to contribute to our mission of improving our business and creating a positive customer experience. We’re seeking an accomplished Underwriting Rules Solutions Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This role can be on-site, hybrid, or 100% remote.   You will report into the Operations Senior Director.

As an Underwriting Rules Solution Analyst, you’ll contribute to Allianz Life’s growth and long-term success by working on multiple aspects of our automated underwriting platforms. You will participate on a team of rules analysts, working in a collaborative environment.  You will also interact with several agile teams consisting of product owners, underwriters, Solutions Analysts, architects and delivery managers. 

·       You will participate in transforming the automated underwriting platform to create a personalized customer-focused digital experience, tailored to accelerate decisions 

·       You will recommend, document and build automated Underwriting Rules in our Underwriting Rules systems

·       You will test and validate rules using several testing tools and techniques

·       You will maintain documentation of rules releases including rules philosophy, scope documents, and release notes.

·       You will collaborate with partners, product owners and team members to improve underwriting roadmap to transform the customer journey

What you bring:

·       5 years’ experience in the life insurance industry

·       Ability to understand technology and translate it into useful business processes

·       Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written skills

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

·       Experience with the MRAS AllFinanz Platform

Range $76,000 - $152,000

Actual base salary may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
